> 24 hourOMG this was a much needed upgrade. My mid 2012 a1286 MacBook Pro is running as good and fast as my kids MacBook Air that isn’t even a year old yet. WOW!!! I’m so impressed!!! Stuff loads instantly now. And on startup only takes about 10 seconds till I can use it. Instead of 3-5 minutes with only 4Gigs. This is a must for everyone that has this machine!!

> 24 hourIn conjunction with OWC SSD 1tb hard drive, my iMac is running amazing. Look at read write speed. Time different is time it took to boot up and then launch a webpage.

> 24 hourI admit I was a little paranoid reading reviews of this or many other RAM sticks, thinking I would screw up my computer or need to wear rubber gloves or something. I did ground myself, but fortunately the body of the iMac is metallic in the first place so thats enough to draw any static away since you cant help but touch the back of it while doing this.

> 24 hourIve been battling with me Macbrook Pro 2012 for years. Ive tried deleting all photos and basically deleted the entire hardrive and reset. It helped but I kept thinking I barely use this thing and I hoped I wouldnt have to buy another computer. Then I realized it must be the ram with all of these updates and I havent updated my my ram. So I bought one 8gb stick just to test it out and see if it works. I went from 2x2 gb ram and now I have 1x8 gb and 1x2 gb which gives me 10gb of ram and wowwwwwww the difference it made. Im ordering my second 8 gb stick tonite.
