item states that it would work for a late 2008 MacBook however once installed computer continued to Beep. item is being returned, if you have a 08 mac do not believe the product review.

Get it you will kick yourself for holding back. Easy install. Make sure you back up your mbp before opening the case. Get a 00 screwdriver (Klein at Home Depot) for the back cover screws. You Tube will guide you. I went from 4 gig ram to 16 gig. Just awesome. So fast. Loads Parallels in no time. Multi tab web browsing, video, easy now. Wife’s M1 mbair is still a better machine, but we are comparing with a 2013 mbp.

Worked perfectly in my mid 2012 MacBook pro. Installation was easy and fast. I run Adobe Audition on this computer and it took the program startup time from 56 seconds down to 6 seconds.

The parts fit as expected and I am able to use an old 2012 Mac mini that was virtually unusable before I put 16 gb of ram in it, I also put a solid state hard drive, the little Mac runs damn near as good as my M1 MacBook pro!

Didn’t install personally, but the technician didn’t report any problems. My MacBook is much faster now. Good product.
