20-11-2024Installed 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory in my mid-2012 MacBook Pro 13. Module location is easily accessible in the unibody model. Under 5 minutes for the upgrade. Plug and play. Huge difference over the original 2 x 2 GB RAM. Should have done this upgrade sooner!

> 3 daySuper easy plug and play. Functions seemingly correctly, although absolutely no noticeable difference in speed has occurred. Being that it was relatively cheap- i don’t care.

> 3 dayI admit I was a little paranoid reading reviews of this or many other RAM sticks, thinking I would screw up my computer or need to wear rubber gloves or something. I did ground myself, but fortunately the body of the iMac is metallic in the first place so thats enough to draw any static away since you cant help but touch the back of it while doing this.

> 3 dayThe packaging sticker states that it is a DDR3 but the stickers on the actual memory cards state DDR3L. I still installed it and it works. My MacBook mid-2012 boots up faster and all apps and web search engines open faster so Im satisfied.
