My iMac 27 late 2012 is much faster now. I had 2x4gb + 1x8gb memory, now with 4x8gb I feel like is faster by 30%, especially when opening large files.

I have used A-Tech products in the past and always found them to be very reliable and never even looked at another brand... Until now.. Purchased 4x8gb Ram for my recently purchased iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) with 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 and AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2 GB. When i purchased it used, it came with 16gb ram, original from Apple. After installing the 32 GB ram, (and yes, they are the correct speed, correct ram) I realized that the computer started slowing down, especially on windows with video players ( such as youtube) I do stock trading, so i also noticed that opening up more than couple stock charts would start slowing down the computer significantly. I did not have any of these problems before upgrading the ram. So i switched the rams back to the original ones, and the computer started working with no problem at all even when more windows / charts were open, and with half the ram capacity. So i believe i might have gotten a bad set, but because it took me a while to find the time to install them, ( new state, new job, moving, etc) i am past the return / exchange period, or i would have loved to change these with another set. I still believe in A-Tech products, but now, will think twice before i order from them again.

A-Tech sucks. I bought 4gig of memory for my iMac from them on 8/18/2017 with a 3 year warranty... the memory cards NEVER WORKED and I have called their customer service # at 866-557-4527 twice a week for almost 3 YEARS and have never gotten a reply. NOTHING. Always busy helping other customers, and NEVER call me back after I leave a message. I am a kind and patient person, but A-Tech has earned the title of crappiest customer service in the frikkin universe. A-Tech SUCKS
