Looks strong and is heavy. Should slow down the most determined thief. Did not use the mounting bracket though it worked fine.

Lock looks sturdy, I would have given a 5 star, but the key that has the light did not have the battery holder or battery. I would have to send the lock back, it wasn’t worth the time to send it back. I am happy with the lock.

Nice and wide enough to lock the frame and the rear tire. Very happy with the purchase.

I had received the U Lock in a poor condition (i.e., it was scratched on the front, refer to picture) a couple days ago. I thought that it would be fine enough to use anyway because I thought the damage was surface-level, and I needed immediate use. However, I have only used it once, and it is currently still locked to an outdoor bike rack because the lock is sticky after one rain storm. The lock will not turn when the key is inserted. I have tried both WD-40 and Tri-Flow multiple times, yet the lock still does not catch. Im at a loss of what my next move should be and am highly disappointed because of the U Lock price and supposed quality...that is, this lock should NOT have stuck after one short rain storm.

Industry standard. Slightly better security than the other brand but not that much better for the higher price. I think they need to contact NASA to develop a material to resist diamond saws and high-leverage cutters. GPS locators and alarms probably would be better.

This lock is a bit heavy, but you do not want a light, cheap lock for your bike. This lock is strong and easy to use. It comes with two keys, one with a led light on it. I love this lock and feel very secure with it on my bike.

I like the apparent sturdiness of the lock. Feels like it would take some time to grind thru it. Bolt cutter might not be a good tool to use on it. The tradeoff is that it is a bit heavy. Not an issue for me, but some might not like it.

Strong and easy to use. I can now secure my bike with confidence that it will be there when I return.

The best U-lock on the market, in my opinion. Its expensive, but when protecting an expensive bike, what price security?? The best thing about it is the German construction, and the DOUBLE end locks, requiring only one key and one key hole. Anyone who calls this lock heavy, obviously has never tested the other high security U-locks out there, thats for sure.

I bought an extra set of keys and carry 2 keys on me at all times.
