> 3 dayGreat ACER monitor, fair price, I just wish it had VESA attachments for wall and stand mounting.

> 3 dayBest monitor for the money. Excellent viewing angles (178 degrees), sharp text, and vivid colors. Has a very sturdy base that the monitor sits on. All in all, a very good monitor for general use. I dont play video games. So the rating for gaming does not really apply to my use of this monitor. I also like the easy access to the buttons that control the monitor.

> 3 dayNeeded a cheap, compact monitor to bring back and forth to college and not be too worried about. I was using my TV as a monitor prior to purchasing this, and its night and day compared to the TV (obviously). This monitor is extremely thin, and has a really slick, edge-less design. The colors of this monitor are amazing, better than anything Ive used before. I guess thats what you get with an IPS monitor. I am running a GTX 1070 so this monitor is a bit low-end in comparison to the card, but it is working great for application. The screen really is the most vivid and beautiful screen Ive ever used. Even the 60Hz refresh rate is amazing, because I am used to gaming on an xbone with cinematic 30-fps. I feel like for the price, there is no better option. Once I am out of college, I will upgrade to a 1440p IPS paired with a 144Hz TN monitor, but for a college student this is more than sufficient. Some minor things I dont like about the monitor: -The external power brick is annoying. I would rather have it built into the monitor and have the monitor be a bit thicker. -The stand isnt the greatest design. It is not convenient to remove either. -Buttons are hard to push. In combination with the less than great stand, pushing the power button causes the whole monitor to tip and usually it rotates or moves when I do this. Not the end of the world, but it is annoying to have to hold the monitor down when pushing the power button. But even with these few reservations, I think this monitor deserves a 5-star rating simply because of the performance and quality you get for the money. I paid around $120 for this monitor which feels like a great deal for what I got. The screen itself, like I said, is amazing, vivid and clear. 10/10 would buy again.

> 3 dayBought this when my company went remote-first. Its a really nice monitor for the price. Definitely dont recommend if youre a gamer or need to use professional design software regularly - but for the average user this more than does the job. Its got a nice slim profile and its a good size. Have used it for the past two years with no problems.

> 3 dayBought this as a secondary monitor for my laptop at my home office. This monitor for the price is amazing. I’m going to buy a second one for a triple monitor set up at some point. My wife tried to steal for her laptop on her desk for a second monitor for her podcasts instead of using my old 2009 LG 22 widescreen. I love having a large 2nd monitor when working on spreadsheets and other documents. I have watched some videos on it and played some computer games using it. A little latency and ghosting, but light years ahead of old monitor.

> 3 dayI understand that the ad says 24 (23.8). That was acceptable to me. The fact are this: The actual size (including the width of the plastic case) is two inches shorter than that - 21. The Amazon rep suggested to me that I should have known that when you buy a monitor you should recognize that screens are actually 2 shorter than that shown on the ad. I hadnt known that!

> 3 dayEl primer monitor que me enviaron tenia un defecto de fabrica en los laterales de la pantalla, lo devolví y me han enviado uno nuevo que esta perfecto, sorprende mucho la calidad de imagen y colores, también es bastante luminoso, realmente no se puede pedir mas por el precio que se paga.

> 3 dayGood, but not fantastic. First, some positives, then my nit-picking: Packaged well. The box was not treated the greatest by UPS, with some minor crushing. The packaging was sufficient enough to protect the panel very well. No dead pixels. Even if a company has a good exchange policy for this, shipping back and waiting again is a pain. Zero dead pixels. (A special note, I will edit this when/if they do appear) Ok, now my nit-picking: There is a bit of backlight bleeding, but it is only really noticeable if youre using it in a darkened room. I usually have other lights on to reduce eye strain, so it doesnt effect me a whole lot. I think I was hoping for a bit richer blacks/contrast. Images and games that are variations of color and light look markedly better than my older Dell LCD, but shadows and darkness dont look much better. There is another reviewer who actually took a photo of this, and Im wishing I wouldve taken a little more time reading reviews. I think for me, personally, if I would have seen this in action before ordering/opening, I would have hung in with my 1080p Dell LCD from 2010 for another year or two before going to 4k or 1440p. Im not saying this is a bad monitor, just that I was investing in getting a bigger difference than what I actually got. Maybe the IPS screens I have seen were of higher quality in that department, and I mistook how much of that image improvement was due to IPS technology.
