> 3 dayGot the i7 1165G7 w/ Iris Xe / 16 GB / 500 GB model. $850. I run Windows 10 Enterprise on it and do only web browsing, video-calling and watching videos, and other basic computing -- no games, no intensive applications. Its a decent laptop and basically what I was looking for, but I really would have liked to see a longer battery life.

Greater than one weekI bought this seeking a laptop with relatively high-specs with regard to RAM & CPU but without a dedicated graphics card, as Im only interested in office work for this. Fantastic reviews had me hyped.

> 3 daythe fan is so noisy and after a couple of days of use the laptop was too slow, it was getting stuck with every single application and sometimes the screen went black while in use... I dont recommend this product because in the Acer forum other users had the same problem with this model. battery life was poorly

Greater than one weekExcellent little no frills laptop that should easily handle everything sure the full scale gaming. For a general all-around laptop its small light good battery life.

> 3 dayIve owned a number of Dell laptops and attempted my most recent upgrade with a Dell as well, ordering it directly from dell.com. But it arrived damaged and Dell refused to send a replacement in a timely manner, so I canceled the order, decided to look elsewhere, and ended up ordering this unit from Amazon. So far Im quite pleased with it. Seems to be equally good in every way to the Dells that Ive had in the past, but for slightly less money. My first laptop with fingerprint reader and Ill not go back to not having one - super convenient, and the reader on this unit seems to be quite responsive - the need for re-tries is rare. The verdict is still out regarding if this unit will hold up over time but it seems well-made and sturdy so my hopes are high. If it does hold up reasonably, Ill definitely look first to Acer for its ultimately replacement.
