It is a good basic computer for everyday use.

Came with a bent chassis and minor cosmetic damage to the lid. Typing causes wobbling of the entire device on the table. Completely unusable. Acer build quality is terrible.

I have had this computer for 2 months and love it...….a real value for the price. I love the backlit keyboard...…..it really is great to use!

I was looking for a low cost notebook I could convert to Linux as a gift for my grandson. With EFI and Windows S it is not trivial to replace Windows but it can be done. This comes with really good hardware and a crippled OS.

I am very glad to have this laptop. The quality is just awesome. The screen and graphics are super good as well as the design and the metal case are great. The loading split-second, fast. The very nice keyboard layout.

Good quality & durable construction. Processing speed is good for school use but may struggle playing new games on the lowest settings. Its the form and shine of an overpriced laptop for far less and with the ability to upgrade RAM with a single 16 gig card that I liked the most. I actually upgraded to another Aspire model with i7 processor because the platform is so good in my opinion.

I am retired and for my needs this computer is perfect. I do bill paying, and social media the startup is fast, great display and easy setup

Great display and comfortable keypad. That sums up the positive. With 4GB memory, you can barely do anything. Forget multitasking. Will just stop working or close random programs and requires a restart. Cant stream an entire movie without needing a restart. Use your money on something better.

So far, so good! Keypad feels good-I’m a writer and it’s very fluid for typing for extended periods of time. Good price considering the quality.
