This is a great simple chromebook. It does everything I need. I mostly just browse the internet and use Google docs/email.

Exactly what I needed for resume updates and job applications

Overall: The chromebook was well-packed and brand new. But it was manufactured on Apr 2021, the battery was totally flat when I received it.

I feel like I had a second one like this and broke at the hinges as well. Also slow for doing multiple things and video

Considering how inexpensive this Acer Chromebook 512 is I wasn’t expecting anything amazing. But I was actually pretty surprised at what $200 can get you these days in a chrome book!

After the Windows 8 fiasco I swore that I would never own another computer running Windows. I had a $100 Acer Chromebook for years. I would still be using it if I hadnt stepped on it and broke the screen.

Overall, a great laptop for the price, and does exactly what I bought it for. (Please see update below.)

I have basically given up on using this because it is pretty slow; it is particularly slow when it first starts up. I will admit Ive mostly been at home and can use a full computer, which I prefer, so I havent used this much; particularly since it was so relatively slow. I bought this for travel, and to not care too much if it got lost, broken, or stolen (I bought it on sale for about $90).

Christmas gift just opened it and it doesn’t work.

I didnt think Id be satisfied with an Acer brand...
