Greater than one weekI could go on forever about how awful this laptop is. But the bottom line is that IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO ACTUALLY PLAY GAMES YOU NEED STORAGE. THIS LAPTOP HAS NONE. NONE. And the reason I say none is because I seriously could only download 1 game. That’s it. That’s all. 1 game. Doesn’t run great, nothing special at all. If you’re going to blow this much money DO NOT WASTE IT ON THIS. You could buy a non gaming laptop for waaaay cheaper that would even run better than this and you could download most likely all the games you want with no issues.....please PLEASE take my advice and don’t buy this laptop ITS NOT WORTH IT!!

> 3 dayWorks great right out of the box. hooked my mouse to in via Bluetooth and away i went. windows home fully functional but only has trial antivirus. not a big deal for me since i already have service through norton. fires up fast due to the SSD and works quickly through my tasks. have loaded up online RPG rift and ran on max settings with no issues, even pretty good on heat. my only Alienware got so hot it would make my lap uncomfortable. so far i have ye to see this one get too hot to hold so to speak. Everything is smooth and works like it should. i have yet to run into any hardware issues or lagging but those things usually take time to show. at this time i am very happy with this laptop and would gladly buy again. considering it is a gaming laptop for under a grand i am very satisfied with the product for sure

> 3 dayIt’s a great gaming laptop, it can and will get loud but ear buds or headphones would cover the noise up easily, I suggest upgrading storage and ram, battery life is less desirable when playing games

Greater than one weekI wanted to write a review about this to say first, lots of the reviews I read comment on the backlighting of the keyboard and how it turns off after 30 seconds and there is nothing you can do to change that. I found that is incorrect. The computer has a NITRO control center and inside that window there is a little settings wheel in the top right corner, if you click that button, you can choose to click off the selection to turn off the backlighting after 30 seconds. I found the keys going dark every 30 seconds to be super annoying but now they stay on all the time and its great! I did not buy this for gaming, my company IT department recommended a gaming type of laptop for the computing needs of my job and this was one they recommended. The system works well for my needs. I enjoy the high resolution screen, seamless program operation, plug in options, soft touch keys, and many other features of this laptop. I travel for work at times and this is heavy and large to travel with, but I accept the trade off for the computing power that I need on the budget I have. I would recommend.

> 3 dayi’ve had this computer for not even a full year and it’s started to randomly turn off while i’m in the middle of a game. the screen goes back, and i can’t do anything, but the screen is still on because it’s not fully off, there’s light behind it. honestly, for the price, it’s not worth it, just go buy a razer.

Greater than one weekThis is an amazing laptop that plays games the way you want them to be played. Its a bit heavy and I personally prefer a non-glare screen (hard to find on a laptop except for MacBook Pro). Its a lot of bang for the buck for less than $600! Very well made.
