I got this about a week and a half ago, it worked amazing, even better than I expected, but after a few days, it started performing worse, it was doing whatever I wanted it to, like recording games at full HD quality, and it has just gone down hill since, I dont know why, its not overheating, I even got it a cooling pad, it first benchmarked 69th percentile three days ago, and today it benched 44th percentile, Im really confused and wouldnt really recommend this to anyone, and if it keeps dropping in performance I want my money back and ill buy a desktop.

Hands down after looking at multiple articles for weeks on best bang for your buck gaming laptops—this one takes the cake. I have not had a new computer for 10 years and missed gaming, so I was meticulous at finding the best gaming laptop for below $800. I have had my Acer for 3 weeks now and everything: fans, battery, display, run speed, internet, video games—-whatever you use it For works fast and doesn’t have any problems. The red keyboard display is awesome. Installing Windows & the updated drivers is a breeze, if not automatically done for you. DO NOT HESISTATE to buy this laptop. BUY BUY BUY! Especially if it’s still only $600. You are getting quality NVidia GTX 1650 graphics and top of the line Intel Core 9th Gen. for literally half the price of most other Gaming computers. This is a steal. I got Games for days on here with no lag at all, all on WiFi no Ethernet needed. We are talking: Overwatch, Starcraft 2, Hearthstone, MTG, Rocket Arena, Apex Legends. All running with no problems at all!

When it first came in I was very excited to get a new laptop I purchased for many reasons. Being able to game at good FPS using my own equipment felt heartwarming and a experience I would never forget.

Wi-Fi wack-a-mole, fix one problem and another pops up, the only game you get to play with this gaming laptop is to figure out why Wi-Fi is not working today, and then repeat tomorrow. If I wanted to be tethered to the internet via Ethernet I would have just got another desktop. Very disappointed in poor performance of a so-called gaming laptop.

Screen quality is great.

Is a decent little laptop for a starter it was easy to upgrade plus the room for the extra nvme and hard drive was nice plus the fact that it has an Nvidia 1650 GTX or RTX I dont remember is actually pretty decent giving the fact that I like to play my VR games PC VR which after upgrading the ram it is allowed to 8 gigabytes of RAM definitely needs to be upgraded immediately only suggestion I have people who buy it also I would suggest putting in at least some more storage otherwise durable decent easy connectivity

The acer nitro 5 gets good frames in Minecraft and the battery life is short but the overall quality makes up for it

My grandson was very happy with this item....until the dog got tangled up in the charging cord, knocked the computer to the floor and cracked the screen. Any ideas on replacing screen? FYI, I did not purchase the insurance. Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

I5 is minimum for some games but this laptop is still speedy! Cant beat the value for the price point.
