Her old computer was adequate for normal school work, but when it came to Maya and some of the other animation programs, it really struggled. The Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop has the horsepower to run these programs (and especially the rendering) with no problem. Very happy with this purchase.

> 24 hourIts a great gaming laptop, I play Black Ops Cold war on ultra settings at 120 fps, I wish the batter life was longer but it is a gaming laptop so its primarily plugged in anyways. Either way its an amazing laptop.

Lots of room for upgrade. I immediately added a 1TB M.2 SSD and it just screams speed. Next upgrade is for 32GB memory and an additional 2TB SSD. Love this machine.

> 24 hourEn general es una buena portátil, tiene un buen valor por las características del mismo que por lo general tienden a ser mas elevados con los de la competencia, en parte se lo debemos a ciertos ahorros por ejemplo que no sea totalmente en construcción de aluminio sino una mescla de ambas, no esperen mucho de la batería ya que por la capacidad de la pc es evidente que consumirá mucha sino esta enchufada y con uso sobre el promedio, por lo contrario sino esta en un uso excesivo la batería tiene buen margen de tiempo hasta que se agote, un tema importante para quienes sean un poco mas meticulosos es el típico sangrado de la pantalla que en este caso y dependiendo de cada unidad e visto que tiene mas o menos, por lo demás buena capacidad, velocidad y gráficos excelentes.

> 24 hourGot my laptop late last year around October and its a BIIIIIIIIIG step up from my Lenovo that I had a few years back. So far for what I do which is editing videos, photos, and gaming, its great but you may wanna upgrade the internal storage at some point.

> 24 hourI love the build choices for this computer and the much sturdier construction. My Lenovo Ideapad 320 had to be replaced, because of a hinge problem with monitor that also caused a separation in the body of the computer! I am disappointed that I am having an HDMI issue when I try to shoot it up to the TV that I didnt have with my older and much cheaper Lenovo (like 1/2 the price) computer. I tried doing what people said and ordered the new upgraded HDMI cables and still couldnt shoot the video to the TV. Frustrated about that; but love everything else so far.
