It may seem like a good offer but without a laptop cooler or a fan close by you can’t even use the laptop without it reaching 100 degrees Celsius and even when temps are controlling random lag spikes occur during gaming that drop you from 144fps to 5-10 for about 30 second and sometimes 0-3 for a couple minutes in general not worth it at all sent mine back after 3 days of testing.

This laptop was great for the first few weeks of use. It ran slightly warm but with some adjustments and optimization would stay below 80 degrees on both cpu and gpu temp. However, it is already experiencing BSOD issues and then boots to an error indicating there is no boot drive. A hard power reset will allow it to boot again normally, however it encounters this error within 30 minutes of use now.

Im totally disappointed, the dream of the perfect notebook has become nightmare, since I bought the notebook, I can not complete any task, the notebook simply hangs for EVERYTHING! Using internet pages, blue screen, playing, blue screen, making simple accounts, blue screen, updating antivirus, blue screen. I can not take this problem anymore, I read VARIOUS internet tutorials and nothing, I contacted Acer Brasil because Im spending a few days here, also unsuccessfully, inform that nothing can do, only Acer US, now I can only solve the problem when come back home.

Amazing laptop ran every power end game but took its toll short of 2 years and the mother board went

I dont play a lot of games, Im using the laptop for video editing. It gets very hot but I didnt have some issues. After 3 years its still working fine and Im satisfied. Only one thing I cant use for long time, the software with control of fans, Ive tried to reinstall but still doesnt work.

For the money this a good laptop. I like the empty compartment for a 2.5 HDD. So far my only negative opinion about is the layout of the keyboard keys. The number pad is poorly designed and steps away from the standard layout as the number zero is one key space to the left than the Standard.

This will be the 2nd predator I have purchased. Both kids16 and 22 now have them. They are wonderfully fast the graphics are amazing! They also are windows reality ready so if you have VR you can connect it. I know 3 young adults with the same laptop and NONE would trade it for anything. Great quality! Definitely recommend for your young gamer.

In general, it worked pretty good for gaming at decent settings, hardly experienced any issues except that it runs too hot, keyboard will actually burn your fingers while you are gaming, the fan will run LOUD as well but not keeping up with cooling the generated heat.

I ordered this laptop for a gamer in the family. He was extremely thrilled to receive it. He said that it had much better specs than his current customized desktop. He was able to hook it up through his monitor to achieve the processing benefits on the larger screen when he wanted too.
