> 24 hourThis breaks my heart. This is my 3rd acer laptop in a row. I was expecting outstanding performance without compromise for a good price, like I have previously experienced. This doesnt meet my high expectations that I used to have for acer gaming laptops around 1000-1100. It runs at 95 degrees Celsius (or higher) running heroes of the storm on ANY graphical setting. It doesnt matter if you play ultra or medium, the laptop is going to be very hot. I have a large cooling pad underneath that is elevated by a second unplugged cooling pad. It heats up to the point that it throttles itself and then my gaming experience suffers. This feels like a downgrade from the Acer aspire v17 nitro that just died after 4 years of dependable and outstanding service.

> 24 hourAfter 3 months the U key on the keyboard began failing. There is an obvious stickiness to it, although nothing was ever spilled or dropped on it. Having called customer service 4 times (in the Dominican Republic) and speaking with supervisors, I was told the only way to fix it is to send it in for 2 weeks at least. This is my business laptop and ACER said they would not pay to get it serviced locally. I will never buy an ACER again because of the poor quality. and customer service.

> 24 hourMaybe I got unlucky but the top right of my screen arrived with slight multiple scratches and one larger less noticeable scratch slightly center right this in my opinion is a premium/bargain computer its not a massive deal Im not sending it back while the screen is on its unnoticeable but when its off I see it and it kinda makes my face kinda twist up and its why in the living flook did they add stickers on the soft mesh that is supposed to be protecting the screen from the keyboard but its a QC issue but I mean this laptop kicks ass

> 24 hourChances are you know a bit about computers if youve made your way through all of the laptop options to this guy. If you are new to buying computers, I will break down some of the specs, what they mean, and what I feel their value is. If not, scroll to the end for my final thoughts.

> 24 hourThe build quality is not that good, it is quite fragile. But its performance is pretty good.

> 24 hourThe only complaint I have is the backlit keyboard only lights up when the charger is plugged in. Other than that it is an amazing laptop.

> 24 hourLaptop ran well right out of the box, was charged about 70% on arrival. Packaging nice and sturdy. Laptop works great, have had for almost a year and it is still working the same as new. Screen quality is good, runs really well. Can play newest games on High graphics easily. Several games on Ultra-High are limited to 60 fps, but most people who buy laptops for gaming dont expect more. Fans do run very loudly though, dont expect to game quietly. You can manually control the fans, but I find it best to let the laptop choose, as it is very good at knowing what speed to set the fans to. It doesnt run the fans high until you get into games, and it will slowly decrease after exiting the game rather than dropping the fans immediately. Its also a very cool-looking laptop in my opinion.

> 24 hourOverall was a decent laptop but the heating issue is very worrisome. Had to stop using it. Not worth the money imo.
