Been out of the PC gaming scene for a while, so decided to get back into it with this. I love it. Runs everything right now on Ultra, boots fast. Has somewhat small SSD storage but is very easy to install an additional drive for $100 or so. Would highly recommend. Havent had any issues and the screen is great quality.

For $1000 USD, this is the best bang for buck. I got it on sale when it was $920 USD.

Broke with 10 months of use, dont waste your money and for Acer customer service, non existent, awful service. Buy something else.

When I first received it I told a friend that the laptop was good. Not great - given the hardware, it should have had better performance, but youre dealing with a budget brand. Little did I realize how true that simple statement was.

Had some problems but acer support stepped up quickly and helped me out. Switched out the motherboard and sent it back, been in business since.

This thing is a beast for the price, I bought it during the prime day sale.

This computer sounded good. There were a few questionable reviews, but as with all technology that is to be expected. However, when we turned this computer on, within 1 hour there was a blue screen with the stop code: driver power system failure. We spent the next 2 hours on the phone with a Microsoft technician. She told us the windows was version 1809 and Microsoft was already up to version 1909. We waited while she worked to update what looked like two screens of different updates. Unfortunately after all that it still didnt fix all of the problems. The technician was nice enough to download the proper windows version. But other drivers were out of date too and needed updating. There is some difficulty connecting to the internet. I am very disappointed in the problems encountered with the start up of this computer. I understand that some things might need updating, but it is not like i had been holding on to this for a year before Christmas. I just got it nov.24, 2019. This was a huge let down for my daughter and for me having given her this christmas gift.

If youre looking for a laptop that is a drop-in replacement for a desktop, then this is probably not your device. It doesnt have the super-premium GPU. No Thunderbolt or USB-C power delivery (there is a USB-C but not for PD). No SD card slot for photo mavens.

All good and fine but I am disappointed with the white visible shades of light on a black image... Its clear the display could suffer improvements in matter of backlighting ... Too bad, I didnt have this issue on my last old laptop, but Ive seen this issue presented on some reviews on YouTube.. so Im pretty sure this is common.. what can I say, still a greate laptop for gaming at a good price...
