> 3 dayI was hoping to better the workflow within Cinema 4d and DaVinci Resolve with this laptop, and it exceeded all expectations! Although its at its best when plugged in, Im more than satisfied with the results. In addition, what I really appreciate, is the screen with its refresh rate and color coverage, as well as the keyboard that looks and feels fantastic. Looking forward to challenging that beast with other real-world tasks, so might update the review.

> 3 daySo far this laptop beautifully runs everything Ive thrown at it, including Cyberpunk 2077 at 100+ FPS on high settings (with ray tracing off). Im using a LG 32GP850-B monitor overclocked to 180hz and couldnt be happier. The turbo mode definitely makes a difference in the FPS but the fan is loud. I use headphones anyways so the whole family doesnt have to hear me gaming, so it doesnt bother me at all - but if you dont use headphones just be aware of the fan noise while in turbo mode.

> 3 dayThe computer worked great for about 2 months, albeit loud and overheating...it still played the games well enough. However, the battery went out after that, and the computer wouldnt even work when plugged in. It would shut down in the middle of gaming. Acer was no help, and now the Turbo has stopped working.

> 3 dayThere was nothing to dislike, it operates perfect. Its just not the most powerful, the processing is two generations old with the i7 and the HDMI has lag from laptop to screen inputs about a second or more of lag from PC to HDMI connected screen. Several crashes even on turbo and low frame games that are 2D. As for portable gaming its the best low end you can get for the price though it should already have the extra ram and ssd installed.

> 3 dayI needed a laptop that could run the Valve Index, for a super cool art project that I got a grant for. After many, many hours of researching laptops and one whole purchase-and-return of an Alienware machine, I got this one. It runs its video right off the graphics card through the mini DispalayPort and it handles the hard specs of the Index amazingly well. And it does it for cheap. GET IT GET IT GET IT!

> 3 dayI love doing tech reviews and if you want more in-depth reviews check out my YouTube channel OndaWire where I give the pros and the cons on everything. Working from has become challenging and finding a good PC to get my work, video and photo editing, side task, reviews, watching movies, and some gaming done is a challenge. I found this Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-54-760S Gaming Laptop a little over a month ago and have been using it every day, and ALL I CAN SAY IS, WOW!!!

Greater than one weekThe charging jack is faulty and will eventually stop taking a charge, rendering your machine a brick. I’ve purchased three of these laptops, and all 3 developed the issue after about a year. It’s not the cables. I bought several new cables but the Jack doesn’t contact right so no charge. Great machine with a fatal flaw.
