I had this computer for 1 week when the fan over the cpu stopped working. It currently in the shop. And this worries me. Is this an indicator of whats to come.

Whats the point of putting a 3060 on a laptop if your software doesnt work properly.

Screen has a lot of bleed at the corners. After about 6 months many of my games began to over heat the cpu after an hour and a hslf of play. I cannot even play Alpha Protocol on high game setting. GPU seems cool and the air coming out is cool, but whete vpu is at there is no air flow. Otherwise its an alright computer..

Amazing laptop love everything about! Amazing quality and durable had over 4 months and using in a deployed environment amazing at its sturdiness! Crystal clear graphics. Keyboard is very good. Love the personalization that you can do as well. Would buy again.

It always went to dark screen if only walking away for a minute, would have to reboot, today I get error screen and cant use. I still have 7 months of payments for a broken machine.

I researched for hours and came up with this Acer Predator Helios. Worked right out of the box. Note - my edition had two 8 GB memory sticks, and I bought two more 16 GBs to replace it and go all the way. I also bought a 1 TB hard drive to finish the job.

I had read that this machine ran hot so I bought a fan pad with 4 fans and never used it without the pad. It did get very hot and I started seeing some glitches in the video when playing games. I never overclocked it, but right after the 2 year mark, I got blue screens where it was stuck in permanent repair mode and I would get pixelated static bands across the screen. Sine the video is integrated, there is no replacing the video card, so now its a paperweight.

My son loves this gaming laptop, everything about it.

I got this laptop for my younger son who is a gamer. It is worth noting that at the same time as I gave him this laptop, I also gave him my old desktop which is still a powerhouse. My son barely touched the desktop and is constantly using the laptop. Here is why:

This laptop is most definitely one of the best there is for its price range. To start the build quality of this laptop is impressive, lots of metal and a really sturdy and rugged design compared to other laptops that seem to try and save money at this price point by using cheap plastic. Games run great on this you can expect at least 60 fps on most AAA titles on high settings, some more graphically intensive games you may need to lower these settings but overall great laptop definitely recommend.
