> 3 dayThis laptop is a beast. Gaming gets me 300-400 fps on normal settings and 120-150 on ultra. No video lag. The only issue I faced was with windows, but it is a different story. A lovely silent keyboard and turbojets fan would cool this baby down. This kind of laptop doesnt tend to be battery efficient due to the loaded CPU and GPU. If you are playing you have around 45 minutes once your parent shuts the braker down. If you are on a budget it is a great opportunity to get a gaming laptop. I do wish there would be more compatibility to update ram for the future since it is kinda a big investment and I would last it longer than 2 years. It is definnatly not portable laptop even though it is a laptop, this beast is a bit heavy. But you are purchasing this powerful machine for a reason right? not for business meetings. Great item and I would recommend it!

07-06-2025I have two of these laptops, both were purchased brand new. Both were used about the same amount by two different people. Both had their CPU fans die at almost the same time. When I say die I mean loud noises, scratching, not cooling efficiently enough.

10-06-2025We purchased this to run our software programs in our small trucking business. Probably a bit overkill for, but we wanted a cmptr that wouldnt be obsolete in a year and could run anything we throw at it!

> 3 dayI am interested in the Acer Predator Triton 500 PT515-52-73L3 Gaming Laptop for one primary reason - to drive (at a framerate greater than 30FPS) an LG 55 HDR display at 3840 × 2160 with the graphics detail cranked up to at least High End within the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. I also need to plug the flight peripherals plugged directly into the laptop. Can this laptop handle it?

Greater than one weekI was in the market for a new laptop, so when I saw this (through the Vine program), I ordered it. Id never owned an Acer computer before, so I didnt know what to expect. Im not a gamer, so its no doubt overkill for what I need, but what I love about it is that its so capable that it could be a substitute for my desktop computer, in a pinch. And since I rely on my computer to earn a living (Im a writer), thats important. My other laptops are either ancient and unable to be upgraded/updated (a 12-year-old Macbook Pro) or less than ideal (a small Lenovo convertible laptop/tablet).
