The screen is nice but thats about it... Like others have said the fact it does not have a a caps lock indicator is annoying... Everytime I try to update I get the blue screen and it has to revert to previous version... None of the USB ports recognize an SD card... I did alot of research to find a portable laptop that had a decent amount of computing power for work/school and a nice screen... This thing is a piece of junk, had to go back to my old HP that is over 10 old and works better. Not even sure what to do with my swift 3 paper weight!

I bought this on Prime Day for use at the kitchen table to read the news and read/write emails during meals. It definitely takes care of that by being easy to use, lightweight, and compact. Like any laptop computer in this price range, you dont want to travel with it a lot. Low-cost computers are never that rugged. But Ive taken it out a few times, and it seems tougher than most in this price range. Its fast and compatible with everything I use. Its a lot of bang for the buck.

Good laptop

For my needs it works out just fine. An option to install Windows 11 is available but somewhat confusing to disable the upgrade if you dont want it as I prefer to stay with version 10. Impressively thin and light and fast enough for all but serious gamers who can expect to pay much more. A great laptop for the price.

This laptop is very light and thin. The full function USB-C is very useful when used with a 10 in one hub. I am happy with everything although the screen is lacking in contrast and could be better. Very capable processor and good graphics capabilities

11 month update: still overheating a lot. Even with elevation, fans, and nothing else running. Sometimes it will run Valheim just fine, then sometimes it just cuts out, losing all my progress. I really wish they didnt skimp on the ram. I cant wait to build my own rig. If it would just warn me when it is overheating, Id be happy. But no, it just shuts off. I hate this laptop. It makes me sad, considering how excited I was originally.

The Acer Swift 3 with a gorgeous 14 display powered by an AMD 5700u 7nm 8 Core / 16 thread CPU is a massively able little powerhouse that will satisfy the needs of most users and then some.
