> 3 dayI mainly got this Swift 3 for the upgraded processor than the older model. It is absolutely amazing and definitely a good laptop if you need a good processor. I am a programming major and it is very fast for a work computer. It can play light games like minecraft at 60 fps if your into that. Screen quality is great and fingerprint scanner is super fast, all around great laptop.

> 3 dayLlevo comprando laptops Acer hace muchos años y esta máquina cumple lo que dice. La calidad del chasis la hace ver premiun aunque claramente tiene un precio para segmento medio.

Greater than one weekI love it. Many cool features such as the fingerprint scanner (which I heard was bad but ir works quite well!) The screen was “too dim” but I found it not as bad as people claimed it to be. One thing I disliked is all the bloat ware but it only took me like 10 minutes of pruning around to delete it all… but it’s with everything now a days lol. Anyways good product that I think will serve me very well for my upcoming college year!

Greater than one weekDont buy this product, and dont use this third party seller HIMALAYAS.LLC. Please note the large number of Blue Screen of Death reports for this product. There is a WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR hardware issue with this thing where CPU timing causes crashes... this occurred with a brand new system with all software updates applied. The PC did run for several hours without a problem, but I experienced problems when room temperatures were near 60 degrees C (we had a cold front and office was cold). Blue screen of death every 5 minutes... could not work at all. I ran memory and disk checks and there were no problems. I returned the device within a week and the crappy 3rd party seller charged an $85 restocking fee stating that the device worked well. I followed up with them and again detailed my experience, and again they simply replied the device works well. Not only is the AMD chipset acting flakey, HIMALAYAS is restocking FAULTY DEVICES and you may be the next victim. Keep looking and save yourself hours of troubleshooting and an $85 restocking fee!

> 3 dayBought an Acer Swift 3 couple years back and have absolutely loved using it. Needed a computer for my brewing building so I thought I would buy another Swift 3 for my daily use and take my old one for my brewing purposes. The new one has some improvements over the older one but the new one has a couple of things I wish Acer wouldnt have changed. New keypad is white figures on silver keys, ( old key pad much easier to see in ALL lighting conditions), but I was aware of the change before I purchased. New unit had went from 4 total USB ports and 1 SD slot to 3 total USB ports and NO SD port. SD port wouldnt bother me at all if it had 1 more USB port. Anyway I knew of all of the changes before I purchased and I am totally happy so far, ( 3 days old ) I can highly recommend this ACER unit.

Greater than one weekI like that this laptop has plenty of memory, a backlit keyboard, and long battery life. This laptop does not have a touchscreen. I am using this laptop for school and light gaming so, it is a perfect fit for me. I hope this review helps.
