This tool has come in handy a number of times to straighten out smashed window air conditioner fins. Straight fins means better air cooling, and when we use this tool to fix them, the units cool noticeably better.

I did have to clean the metal brush a little to get the bristles to move. Very good at cleaning the coils and keeping the fins straight.

I used the comb very careful since I knew the fins can bend prior to spring the foam onto the interior of the compressor. I spent more time than what I intended to. My a/c compressor was very dirty. Temperature was around 45 deg. It would have been better if temperature was 60 deg. I did not start up the compressor and will wait for another month (late May) to see if it works.

Was able to fix many bent fins on my 20 year old air conditioner unit once I figured out the best way to go about using the tool. It stayed together though, and did what it was supposed to do. I straightened all the fins I could and then bought the spraying foam and cleaned the condenser unit. This thing saved us a lot of money.
