So you may have gotten the same confusion as me on this item. I was thinking this could be used to repair damaged and bent finds on the back of ACs. This is just for scraping dust off, which I found doesnt really work that well. I returned this and grabbed a different item on here. Look up AC Fin Straightener and youll see a bunch of the same thing, its a ring with plastic combs for different fin sizes. Also look these tools up on YouTube and youll see what and how theyre used properly before you try anything. If done wrong you could end up bending and causing more trouble, so better to research everything first. Its relatively easy, just requires patience.

I used the comb very careful since I knew the fins can bend prior to spring the foam onto the interior of the compressor. I spent more time than what I intended to. My a/c compressor was very dirty. Temperature was around 45 deg. It would have been better if temperature was 60 deg. I did not start up the compressor and will wait for another month (late May) to see if it works.

I used these tools to clean, and straighten where needed, evaporator coils on window a/c units used in a public place. The soft brush was really useful at cleaning the coils.

Both tools are easy to use and a good value compared to hiring an A/C maintenance company. The larger brush is great for cleaning the coils and the smaller metal tool is very sturdy for coil repairs.

Made cleaning our air conditioners fast and easy. I was surprised at the difference it made using this product as opposed to others we have tried!

The metal Brush is not good. It doesnt work well and it doesnt fix the fins it just crushes them more. The bristle brush works as it should its just a stiffish bristle brush. But the metal one is crap.
