I am very pleased with this case. The hard drive is placed on one side and kept secured with an elastic strap.

I liked how affordable this product was. There is no need to buy a fancy. This case does the job and protects my hard drive just fine.

I think this came as a bonus with the Toshiba Canvio Basics 2TB portable hard drive I bought. Ive never used it, but it seems okay. Main problem is to find a place for it to avoid yet more clutter around my computers.

The case holds my WD passport Essential snuggly and securely. I have a few other external drives that are slightly larger than the essential but I wouldnt use this case for those. This case is made specifically for the drive it is advertised to hold.

Decent case. Holds my 1T Seagate and chord just fine. I tend to put the hard drive in the mesh pocket to keep it from sliding around too much. The elastic strap isnt all that sturdy, but holds the chord. Why not make both sides with mesh pockets?

After one of my hard drives broke, I couldnt afford to lose all my footage again. I ordered this for my next one to keep it safe. This is such a great purchase that I keep my hard drive in here even when I plug it into the computer. I had to recently order a new hard drive because my old one is filling up. I immediately ordered another one of these because each of my hard drives has to have one of these. Very protective, has held up for several years. They are constantly being put in my bag and taken to work. Constantly traveling, works well and holds up. Great buy especially when it comes to the price.
