Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Great all around! I really can’t stress enough how important it is to keep these hard drives protected. I learned the hard way.

I bought this for a hard drive and it was durable and a perfect fit.

Only 1 issue is that it does not fit the LaCie 5TB version.

I bought this case to safely store this: WD 2TB Elements Portable External Hard Drive, USB 3.0- which fits fine! probably going to sit in the drawer for years but Im happy with this

Fits my Passport External Hard Drive perfectly! It securely holds the drive on one side and the USB cord on the other. It has a slim profile, just like the drive, but still offers great protection and I take it with me everywhere.

I bought this case for my echo auto and its a great size for it.

i have bought it like a couple weeks ago, and now it is broken... I dont say it is made out of bad materials... the shell is absolutely awesome and comfortable to touch or hold but the zip is broken after a couple weeks i have used it. Overall, it actually does its own job to protect my external hard drive, but the zip is really easy to break.... i now prefer to buy another band other than this.

Before buying this product be sure to do your research! If you are looking for a case that will protect your drive from drops and other accidental damage I would recommend you look for a more study case. One of the things that I wish that they would improve on is adding some more padding which would give more protection to the drive inside. I like the fact that this case allows for you to easily carry your drive and cables neatly.

Make sure your Hard drive will fit in it before buying. I thought this was for a 3.5 Drive but obviously was wrong - I looked at one dimension but as it turns out it was another dimension. Completely my fault, not removing a star for that at all.

The product arrived and was exactly as described. Impact resistant, vinyl carrying case for Western Digital Passport. It has a mesh pocket inside for the USB cable, and an elastic band to secure the hard drive in place. The zipper tab for the case is made of rubber to make gripping very easy. A perfect product for the task that it was intended to perform.
