does its job, wish it had a little more space so I could keep all my thumb drives and hard drive in one place, or at least a way to attach it to my other case. overall does what it says on the tin with plenty of room for most any external hard drive Ive seen and a couple cords

I got the 2TB External hard drive to backup my files and it came with a soft case. While I dont always take it with me, I am a teacher and sometimes take it back and forth to school. I dont want to worry about dropping it or it getting bumped in my bag. This is a perfect size case. It comfortably holds the drive, a cord, and I even keep 2 extra USB flash drives in the side pocket. I wouldnt try throwing it down the stairs, but I feel comfortable carrying it in my bag or purse. Worth the small investment!

Works like it should. Not much room for the cord and you have to be careful how the usb ends are folded. Overall I am happy but would prefer the smooth sided cases over this textured one as it collects debris, dust, etc. and has to be brushed off.

Well made carrying case. I use it all of the time to transport my WD portable hard drive to and from the studio. I highly recommend as I think that the Amazon case is better than the WD case that I previously had.

Very simple but very nice, functional and sturdy. It fits my Seagate Backup Plus Slim perfectly. Also fits the older version of Seagate Backup Plus Slim, which is a little larger.

If you are using this case with a seagate portable hard drive, especially the slim, this case will have excess space where the hard drive can move around. You could put the drive in the mesh retention area and it would work, however, I think the purpose of this area is to store the connection cord. The case itself could be more durable, but it has ok protection capabilities. I was looking for a case that would provide a snug fit, and had I known what this case would be like I probably would have purchased a different case.
