Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

This case was perfect for the conditions that I am in. Being deployed here in Afghanistan on this tiny JCOP there really isnt much to watch. After awhile AFN get old and you want to trade with others. This case was the perfect way to keep the cord with the harddrive when passing it around. Its nice and sturdy, which helps when dealing with people that may not take care of there property let alone someone elses.

Theres nothing basic about this case. While its not padded, it does provide protection from just about any form of normal use. It has an internal side-pocket that holds a USB cable to end searching for one. The case is nicely constructed of semi-rigid nylon or similar material. Cant beat it for the price.

Perfect fit for WD External HDD - as advertised in that this was recommended by the web page. The sides are hard but light weigh – good protection for inside your backpack or whatever, but do not get the impression that the case will protect your HDD if you run it over with an SUV – even a compact SUV. The elastic strap that hold the HDD is perfect and the webbing on the other inside cavity is perfect to holding the USB cable. Zipper is good. For the price you cannot beat this case.

tough exterior, simple and good appearance

Very nice case with a pocket for the power cord, and a wide elastic space for the external hard drive.

It’s snug fitting for the WD passport but it works out fine.

well built. I keep a large backup battery for charging all my usb type devices in it and it works great.

Fit my external hard drive perfectly. Cant beat the price for such quality. It has a place for both the drive and the cords.
