Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

Works as advertised.

I am glad that Amazon recommended this item to me with my external hard drive. The hard drive fits in nice and snug and there is also room for your USB 3.0 cable. I always make sure I have all of my belongings with me and this really helps me since I can be sure that my drive is always in this case.

It is durable and protects what I have.

I use on my HD Passport; can actually fit two, though made for one and cable storage with room to throw in a USB thumb drive also.

Good to have in order to protect your backup drive and data.

A sturdy case perfect for storage and travel.

We got this case for our Garmin 1450 to take it with us to Sweden and Norway. We have always gotten Hertz cars with Neverlost GPS because we have gotten familiar with the interface. However since we getting the car in Sweden and dropping it in Oslo, Hertz would not rent us a car with Neverlost for remote drop in another country. We got the MiniSD with the Scandinavia maps and took the Garmin in our luggage in this case. Worked like a charm, and I think in the future we will just save that $13/day (plus tax) that we would have spent on Neverlost. In that respect, this case has more than paid for itself.

Internal pouch for the connect cable, and a elastic strap to secure the external hard drive. It does what it was designed to do...contain and protect my external hard drive.

nice holds up well very cool for my pocket drive

This fits the WD MyPassport 2TB well, room for the USB cable and another small item or so - its a nice tight fit. The case is stiff but certainly not a hard shell, hopefully it is enough for most minor bumps in a daily-carry backpack; overall its a nice case.
