This is another excellent AmazonBasics product.

This is super useful and it protects my external passport from grtting scracthes.

Fits my Toshiba Canvio Basics 1TB Portable Hard Drive and cord perfectly, with extra room for memory sticks etc. While I wouldnt drop it off a building, I trust it to bounce around in my backpack with no problems.

Loved the material and the protection it provided for my new exterior hard drive. Recently lost a hard drive to a fall that ruined the drive with no way to recover. Wont be without the protective case. Well worth the purchase.

This does not fit the Seagate backup plus external hard drive. Perhaps it fits others. Overall the product seems nice, I just cant use it. I did make sure to look at measurements before purchasing and though it all looked alright. Perhaps my math was wrong so a measurement for this product or for the hard drive was wrong. If it had fit my device this would have been a 5 star review.

I bought this at the same time as my purchase of the WD Passport external hard drive. it has a sturdy exterior shell with one side of the interior for the HD and the other with a mesh net to hold the USB cable.

What I need

Great case for your portable USB hard drive very sturdy for such a low price :-) I highly recommend
