Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

This is the second case I bought. Amazon has a great price and these cases are great for my external hard drives. Fits my WD My passport great. The side are stiff so it protects the hard drive.

I have several external drives that I keep on hand with various files on each. The case fits my drives without a lot of extra space for the drives to move around. Those knocks and bumps have taken out a couple of my drives before and it was getting old. I treat my drives good but between kids, cats, and moving around they took a beating. The price is reasonable enough that having extras are great when needed. Plus each drives connector cable is with the drive and I do not have to go searching for the cable with all the other cables. When I need more, I will be ordering these again.

Purchased this product for a WD 2TB Blue My Passport Ultra Portable that worked for 3 days!! The carrying case is very nice and durable. The product I purchased it for was not!!

These Amazon hard drive cases are inexpensive and very sturdy. It’s well worth the price to keep your drives dust and grime free when not in use.

So nice to have a case for my external drive. I travel quite a bit and it is good to know that it is protected while being carried on and off planes and to wherever I happen to be headed.

Not much really to say except this is a hard case which perfectly fits the WD My Passport. The drive slides into one side of the case and is strapped down; the other side has a mesh pouch for the USB cable. When you zip up the case, the drive doesnt move around and it seems well protected. If I had to nick-pick, the only thing that isnt great about this case is the zipper pull- it feels cheap and Im not sure if it will survive much abuse. Other then that, no complaints!

My passport fits snug as a bug in this little carrier. Has a place for all the cords to fit into it. The case itself is a hard cover.
