The Alexa smart plug is amazing! I use it to control the light in my bedroom. Very convenient when I fall asleep at night and don’t feel like getting back up to turn off the light. It was super easy to set up.

I use this to turn on and off the daylight lamp on my daughters snake tank. I had it linked to my Amazon account and Alexa when I added it to my cart and purchased it. When I plugged it in, my Echo Show 5 immediately recognized it and added it. It also automatically showed up in the Alexa app on my iphone 13. I literally had no setup steps to perform except renaming it to Snake Light. I can control it from the app, Echo Show and the firestick remote. I simply have to say Alexa turn on the Snake Light :)

I can add voice control to lamps or almost anything else. I can relocated it and use it with something else if I want. I use it to control a lamp in my family room that was always difficult to reach by hand. Happy!
