I got this from Amazon warehouse to knock an extra £5 off the price, but it took them about 10 days to dispatch it and so I didnt get it for about 2 weeks. And then, since it was a warehouse deal, the heatsink had no thermal paste on it!

Dopo anni di Intel ed in base anche ai benchmark, ho voluto prendere un processore che avesse 6 cores fisici ed hyperthreading ad un prezzo inferiore di almeno 30% del corrispondete Intel. This CPU is awesome. It runs a little hot with the including cooler, but you can address this with a better aftermarket cooler later if you wish. I noticed the biggest uplift in performance playing VR titles, but thats to be expected as VR is demanding and you are more sensitive to inconsistent performance. If the price is right buy one. Recommended!

Processor did not work. Dead on Arrival. Sending it back and asked for refund.

Runs great and has a crapton of fast threads, but there was an error in the RDRAND instruction making it only return 0xffffffff. That was fixed with a BIOS update. The chip itself performs admirably, if a bit on the hot side.

opened it straight off my porch and the fan was broken in the box

Depuis que je me monte mes propres PC, jai toujours été du côté de Intel ( mon dernier en date était le I7 6700k ). En refaisant ma config à neuf jai donc décidé de passer sur les nouveau Ryzen et plus précisément le Ryzen 5 3600.
