AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

This is a great processor. Seems to work fine. I ran a Cinebench R20 test on the R5 3600 and it got a score that was about three times higher than my Dell G5 laptops I7-8750H (R5 3600 score was 3400 or 3500 and the laptop cpu was ~1300).

Third Ryzen 5 3000 series processor Ive got for family builds. Processor has always been great, but this specific purchase was not that great. The processor was shipped in an Amazon ENVELOPE, not a box, an envelope. The box from AMD was all battered and the plastic casing for the included cooler was all broken to pieces and pieces got in the pre applied thermal paste.

I really like the performance of this cpu it is super snappy in my build! Only thing I dont like is the thermal paste that came preapplied it was a very thin coat on the cooler and I would suggest getting some other type of thermal paste because the fan speeds up and the temperature gets up to almost 70 Celsius just by opening minecraft. But other than the thermal paste it is an excellent cpu.

It keeps overheating and shutting down my pc when I launch a game. Without anything open its at 78-90 celcius. Please help

This may have been overkill for my personal use. But the processor is outstanding. Great product. If you have the patience to build your CPU, do it. Don’t over pay for things you may not want and build exactly what you want.

El procesador es una verdadera belleza, lo uso para edición de vídeo, y aunque el Ryzen 7 hubiera Sido mejor opción, mi presupuesto no daba por el momento para más. Es un monstruo con sus seis núcleos y doce hilos, vas a notar la fluidez inmediatamente en la vista previa, así como al renderizar mayor rapidez al hacerlo.

Very powerful CPU but does run hot on boot this baby idles at 60c admittedly this could be due to my installation of cpu fan and the fact the stock fan isnt great but managed to get it down to 55c with some mobo setting and setting windows performance mode to balanced would recommend but might have heat issues.
