This is a good budget AMD CPU for the current price, would recommend if anyone wants to get a CPU on a tight budget for gaming or use in 3D applications.

I have always owned flagship desktops for the past 20 years. All of which have been custom built. But AMD RUSHED this product to the market. Running an Asus x570 Strix and i have never had so many problems with a single piece of hardware in my life. I have been using a 3600x for the past few months. I purchased it on the cheap end purposely waiting for the 5000 series. I was able to snag this while my 5800x is currently on backorder. This cpu has caused my memory to not properly read. Asus aura refuses to work at all. my pc is stuck spewing out random hideous colors i didnt think it was capable of. the software wont even launch. i have reformatted used the same exe i have had saved on a flash drive. ive tried multiple bios and nothing seems to work. There is over 10k sitting here on this desk and ASUS and AMD make me wanna smash it all.

I bought this back for a starter PC build a little bit back during the start of summer vacation. It was around when the prices were still high, but I do believe it was worth the money at the time. Most of my games run smoothly, without any lagging problems, and the included fan keeps it cool. For a person starting to build their own PC, I would suggest this CPU for their build.

Good for the price and defiantly a good choice for a quick upgrade. Don’t let your pc build be bottle necked just because your cpu because it is just as important as the gpu.

Acheté au tarif unique de 258€ pour le Ryzen 5 5600X cest une vrai petite bombe sur une X470. GTA V, PUBG, LoL, CS:GO (et 1.6 xD) Crysis 3 remastered etc etc. Tout en full avec une GTX1660.

Its been a month since I installed this new ryzen cpu and so far it works great. I would need to mention that if you have a pc/motherboard thats a bit older, you will need to update your bios. Nothing major, but do that before installing the cpu as was the case with me lol

Matched it up with a decent B550 board and this thing flies. No problems with setup, bios flash for the board, nothing. The setting to enable virtualization is buried in the overclocking menu, but once I had that it was clear sailing. I have not tried to overclock this thing, but I have the option. Still kinda pricey in Sep of 2021, but thats the market. Satisfied with my purchase.

After installing the CPU my computer would boot and immediately shut off. After doing all of the troubleshooting I knew how to do, I brought my PC to my local microcenter to have it fixed, only for them to tell me the CPU was fried. The problem is, they were so backed up due to being short-staffed, that by the time they told me the CPU was the issue, I was passed the 30 return time frame for Amazon.
