Just make sure BIOS is updated to latest version because if you have an old one you wont get a post and will be stuck on a backstreet with all the pc lights on

The 3800x is great, and really good value if you can get one for around £300. Sadly that’s based on experience of the one I purchased from another retailer. The box sent by Amazon, I realised after fitting, was a cheaper 3700x which in reality is very, very close in performance so I can’t be bothered trying to exchange it but recommend double checking the label before installation! 10/10 AMD, 3/10 Amazon.

Instaled with stock cooler for now, with asus x570 tuf, only for gaming and media contents...in hardware monitor, max temp is at 70 Celsius, with peacks at 4525Mhz...top!no OC
