AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

I upgraded from 2600 to this alongside a motherboard upgrade. I wont be reviewing the Wraith Prism cooler, as I am using an aftermarket cooler instead.

This item appears to have been delivered DOA. Id like to exchange it . Due to Covid, I am an essential worker and have just now gotten around to installing it and it doesnt work.

Comprato come regalo per mio nipote che voleva assemblarsi un computer di buona qualità e prestazioni. Lha scelto lui. Pagato meno in rapporto a altri fornitori. Certo è passato un anno, ma intanto mio nipote si è assemblato il computer che voleva a un prezzo competitivo e ha potuto usarlo e continuare a usarlo ancora. Non avendo una conoscenza specifica in materia, non so se ultimamente abbiano sviluppato dei modelli più recenti e potenti.

A great performance processor. Was debating between this and the 3700X, but finally settled on this. Havent regretted the decision so far....

I mean, if you are looking for a CPU with good performance and low cost, 3700x/3800x is a good choice, the different between 3700x and 3800x is 3800x is an oc 3700x. Now with Black Friday, it only costs you $330. You may heard that Intel is good at gaming (with an excellent graphic card), but as long as the refresh rate is above 144, who can tell the difference (3800x can also do it with a great graphic card). So, go ahead and pick this one.

The box did not contain the processor. Just the fan and an empty box for the CPU.
