AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

Overpaid for this, i knew what i was getting into. It is in a weird spot where if you are gaming, go with a 5600x. If you have a workstation, go with a 5900x. The 5800x is good for both, but the price difference between the 5800x and the 5900x is small enough to just go with the 5900x. Of course, i bought this one because of availability.

Great CPU, upgraded from ryzen 2600x. Difference is really noticiable. No more FPS Drops, No more 1% Low’s. If youre on AM4 MB, you dont need anything else. 10/10

upgraded from a Ryzen 5 3600. Motherboard is an x570 TUF wifi plus and GPU is an rtx 2070. Difference was night and day.

Great CPU for the price I got it for. Nice bump from a 3700x. I had to get a new cooler for this spicy cpu. Other than that Ive had no issues with this cpu.

My old Ryzen 5 1600 could play Grounded quietly with the stock cooler without overheating. This new Ryzen 7 burns so hot that the computer shuts down when playing Grounded. I had to upgrade my heatsink to a (louder) AIO liquid cooler to keep the CPU temp below 85° when playing the same game.

Très performant. Précision du titre, les 5800x sont des samples gold-tier du 5600x. Du fait de sa conception (1 seul CCX pour 8 cores) le processeur a tendance à chauffer, cest la bonne loterie pour moi (80 en full sur AiO 360), mais tout le monde ne peut pas en dire autant. La fréquence boost est rarement atteinte avec les réglages stock (plutôt 4.5ghz), cependant il est possible (à condition davoir pioché la bonne loterie) de faire un undervolt lui permettant datteindre et de dépasser la fréquence boost en gagnant quelques degrés (5 chez moi).
