AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

5800x is a beast. Upgraded from a 3900x. Already had the x570 motherboard so upgrading was a breeze. I’m so impressed with this processor that I also upgraded my son’s pc with the 5800x since we are both gamers. Warzone is now averaging 200 FPS paired with the 3090. With the 3900x I was averaging 140 FPS. Processor does run fairly hot. Make sure you have a good case with fans and definitely an AIO cooler. With my setup Lian Li Dynamic and NZXT 280mm, idle is from 35c-42c. Underload is about 63c-68c. Stable overclock at 4800mhz and under volted to 1.3. Ryzen master PBO hits 4850mhz. Just an amazing and gaming powerful processor.

This Cpu is a monster. Temps actually don’t go too high. Runs flawlessly and it’s fast. Happy I went with this cpu over others.

Cant beat that price for an upgrade.

Attention à vérifier si votre carte mère posséde le firmware qui le détectera car sinon il faut le mettre à jour avant dinstaller le processeur. Normalement celles achetées maintenant ne devraient pas poser de problèmes. Excellent processeur qui chauffe un peu mais pas de problèmes avec une tour bien ventilée, un bon ventirad et pate thermique.

Produit vendu sans le ventirad alors que la description de lannonce indique sa présence.

I tried every troubleshooting technique imaginable and it didnt work. Both the amd site and the motherboard manufacturer confirmed it was compatible. Amazon wont exchange and will only refund however I got it on sale so Im SOL on that. Im having to downgrade to a temp replacement until they have them in stock.

Some background: I mostly play video games on this machine but I also video edit 4K videos and do some deep learning from time to time. I come from a Ryzen 1800X. The upgrade is worth (to me) every penny. I initially wanted to get a 5900X due to its own stellar reviews, but it turns out that even the 5800X is absolutely amazing for what I do.
