AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

This CPU is very powerful and can handle everything my household throws at it. We stream video, game, and download files without noticing any major stress being placed on the hardware. The Wraith fan works very well with our setup. The CPU can get hot (as it will) when doing multiple things at once but its not anything that would sway me away from buying this CPU. Could easily fix this with a liquid cool system. Highly recommend this CPU. Just a couple $100 from the 3500X and well worth the additional money.

Aunque tecnicamente es un procesador de gama desktop, lo he utilizado para montar un servidor en una empresa pequeña con 5 usuarios y substituir a 3 servidors HP Proliant DL320eG8 con 1 x Xeon X3430 (4 cores / 4 threads) y VMware ESXi. El Ryzen 9 3900X con sus 12 cores y 24 threats doblado el número de threads, y cada core es unas 5 veces más rápido. Ahora las máquinas virtuales (una mezcla de Linux, Windows Server 2012 y Windows Server 2019) se levantan en 5 segundos. He instalado el Ryzen 9 3900X en una sencilla placa GIGABYTE X570 AORUS Elite porque incluia tarjeta de red Intel (queria evitar que el ESXi no reconociera a las tarjetas Realtek de otras placas). El resto de la configuración es 64GB de memoria no-ECC 3200Mhz, 2 x 2TB Intel SSD 660P Series, 2 x 4TB WD GOLD 7.2K 128MB (WD4002FYYZ), Corsair RM850i,

Good powerful CPU. Meets expectations.

Un gran procesador, muy rápido y con un Noctua NH-D15 se mantiene por debajo de 80 grados a plena carga (sin Overclock).

Builtin cooler not usable! Need to buy liquid cooler... Cpu getting too hot :(

I had 1700x doing video editing and updated to 3900x has made a world of difference and in gaming average 30-40 FPS boost temps are better too
