This was easy to install for even the novice but does require a torque wrench to do it right. The unit fit perfectly on my 2015 Ram 3500. It extends or stows with a touch of the toe and provides a very sturdy step into or down from the bed. Considering the price, the ease of install, and the way it makes using the truck so much easier, dont hesitate. Frankly I dont know why the manufacturers or dealers dont install these automatically. Its eaiser to use than Fords tailgate step (I tried those when deciding on a new vehicle).

This step has been so helpful . Super impressed with quality, ease of installation, and we use it all of the time. I cant believe trucks sold now dont have this as a stock item. What a life saver!

I purchased this because when I have our Travel Trailer connected to my 2017 Ram 2500, I cant open the tailgate. This allows me easy access to my bed to put in or take out whatever I need to. It wasnt too bad to install, but I did have to use the spacer - which I only realized AFTER I fully installed it. I just wish the instructions were more clear as to wether or not you did need the spacer on specific trucks.

Amp research really killed this it with this step. The step is very simple to install. Removing one of the bumper brackets and placing the AMP bracket in its places made it better than stock, with an added step. Overall best step on the market for taller trucks.

Very sturdy & only took about 20 minutes to install with some socket wrenches. Easy to deploy for use and stow when not needed. I used to carry a step stool to get in and out of my pickup bed - now I just step up. What a joy.

Step is mounted on 2017 3500 dually. Easy mounting instructions. I was hesitant at first with 300# limit. Im 280 & step is very secure, I feel very comfortable in & out using step. Step is wide, plenty of room to access. Operates very well & folds up out of way. Should be standard equipment on pickups without access to bed.

As trucks get taller we need ways to get in them. This has been a great addition to my husband’s work truck. His entire crew uses it, and even me when I had to hop in to find something. It tucks up very nicely, and is smooth to pull down. Going up can be a bit snappy, but it is more shocking than anything (yes, it is that girl jump from me).

Great item and a must have. I installed it on a 14 Ram 2500. Made getting up and down from truck bed much easier. High quality product and easy to install. I was skeptical for a minute after installation because the steep itself is made out of plastic. Even my friend was skeptical about steep holding up, not breaking. So I told him give it a try and make sure to step toward the outside. Amazingly the step held up under his feather weight (235lb) with no problem. Ive been using the steep since then probably 10-20 times a day and so far so good.

Super easy to install, put the spacer in but didnt need it
