23-11-2024This is a great product, our new truck was so high that we had to find something to make getting into the bed of the truck easier. It came in a timely fashion. Was a breeze to install. And we have had several people asking us where we got it. Simple to use. Just push down with your foot or hand. Climb in and out. Then push back up with your foot or hand.

> 3 dayExpensive for what it is, but very useful if you feel it is worth the cost. Stays out of the way until needed and flips down easily for use.

> 3 dayI didnt realize how much I would come to appreciate this thing. I use it all the time to get in and out of the bed. There really isnt a way in and out when the tailgate is down. I have a 2018 RAM 2500 diesel. Fit perfectly. It was straightforward to install; however, you do have to have a torque wrench. My one complaint suggestion is that there are three small allen bolts that hold the step onto the rest of the hardware. Their torque setting is way below the torque range of the other bolts. So really cant use a single torque wrench. Also, couldnt use bicycle torque wrench which is all in metric. Anyway, I overtightened one of the bolts and stripped it. The company quickly sent me replacement. Would be much better if they could tighten into a more solid material so torque setting could be done with same torque wrench as the other bolts.

Greater than one weekGreat step! After contemplating spending the money for this, I did. Wow am I happy with it. Wish I would of bought it a long time ago! Very easy to install with basic hand tools. You have to remove one small, minor bumper bracket to make this fit, but other than that it bolts right on. Fits great,, very easy to flip down and back up. Thus step us right about the half way point between the tailgate and the ground. Makes getting into the truck bed alot easier, no more climbing or step stools now, lol. I have a 2014 Ram 3500 single wheel with the 6.7 Cummins.

> 3 dayStep is mounted on 2017 3500 dually. Easy mounting instructions. I was hesitant at first with 300# limit. Im 280 & step is very secure, I feel very comfortable in & out using step. Step is wide, plenty of room to access. Operates very well & folds up out of way. Should be standard equipment on pickups without access to bed.

> 3 dayI installed this bumper step on our 2012 Ram 3500, with dual rear wheels, truck. Installation was very easy, as I had all the tools required; a torque wrench is required to ensure the four mounting bolts, and the three step bolts, are properly tightened, without being overly torqued. I took my time, double checking each step, and it took me an hour to install the step. All components seem to be made of high quality materials, are well made, and very well designed. All parts fit together perfectly. Once installed, the step is unobtrusive, yet easy to deploy and retract, with just a slight touch of ones foot. It feels solid and easily holds my weight. (I weigh just over two hundred pounds.) It doesnt shake or wobble, either stepping onto or off of it. As for its intended use, it makes getting into, and out of, the bed of our truck much, much easier, especially since it is a 3500 and the bumper, as well as the bed of the truck, are so high off the ground. I stand approximately 5 10 tall and I either had to jump onto the tailgate or roll onto it, when it was down, in order to get into the bed of the truck. Getting out of the truck required me to jump off the tailgate; eventually I was going to misjudge the landing and hurt myself. Now that the step is installed, I can easily, and safely, enter and exit the bed of the truck, as well maintain my dignity while doing so! If you are debating getting this, then you have already determined you need it, so stop stalling and get it; you wont be disappointed.

> 3 dayLove this thing, but its a bit pricey. I would like to have one on the side of the bed for the tool box too, but theyre just too expensive to purchase at the same time. After installing and using this for a couple years I ended up knocking it off while backing up to dump some branches. Only took 2 days without it to order another.

> 3 dayThis installed exactly as described. Not sure, but previous issues with tred mounting bolts may have been solved as they are now Allen key... no issues or concerns about stripping as others have noted A bit flimsy when you step on it, but appears to hold as expected ( tested at 215 lbs ) Cool mechanism for up /down movement and looks good installed Position allows for in/out of truck bed with gate up or down.... at 60 years old, this is a great feature for my Ram 3500
