Anti-theft Classic Essential Messenger Bag, Nutmeg

I really liked this travel bag for my recent trip to Europe. I used it the front section as my wallet the main section for personal products and the back pocket for my phone charger and ear plugs. Only drawback is the strap which was a little stiff I usually wore it lower on my shoulder to keep it from rubbing against my neck. My daughter had ordered another anti-theft bag from amazon and it had a much smoother strap which I preferred; however, she preferred the wallet section on mine.

I love this bag - not crazy about the material though. Would love it in leather or denim material. If it had a phone spot outside the purse it would be perfect. Still love it, but would love it more with those changes.

The locking mechanisms on the zippers really sold me; I felt the contents of my purse were secure at all times. I also like having a slash-proof strap. This style is just the right size for my needs.

This has bee a wonderful purse. I love all of the anti-theft extras and it is not bulky, but can hold quite a bit if needed. My only complaint kind of negates all of the anti theft add-ons. I use this purse every day, but do not over fill it. I noticed recently that sometimes it was unzipped when i was sure I had zipped it. over the course of 2 weeks I noticed that the zipper was failing. It was not overfilled and there seemed to be no damage to the teeth or stress on the zipper. it failed on each side where the curve is the greatest. I am not sure if this is a random unlucky purchase, or a manufacture flaw, or just a cheap zipper. I found that if I took my time and zipped slowly it didnt happen every time. This week, unfortunately, it not longer zips at all. I cant get the teeth to grab at all...Purchased this in late August 2015 and now it is early April 2016. So be aware of this. Again, wonderful purse, but with a zipper that doesnt work it isnt a very anti-theft purse anymore!

Very functional, beautiful, light and water resistant

I bought two of these bags, one for myself and one for my sister. We will use them when we visit Rome and Venice this month. I understand there is a problem there with pickpockets, so I will let you know how they work out for us. I do like the style and the craftmanship of this bag. We will also use it for evening wear it is that nice. Both of us love it.

This purse is a PITA....which is good for deterring thieves, but not good for every day use. The mouth of the purse (opening) is small, so it makes it difficult to wrestle your wallet out of it or to grab your sunglasses. The little zipper-to-bag connection clips are cool, and when I did not use them, I felt like I was just not utilizing the bag as intended. It also made me feel like there were robbers lurking everywhere...I know, probably just me. It seemed to make me more aware of everything around me; good mostly, but man, exhausting. The material is that shiny, slick kind of material like a very heavy windbreaker. Apparently, that makes it slash proof. I can see that this purse will work well if you are on vacation and want a thief-deterring purse for your things, but for the daily, its a no-go for me.

I purchased this bag specifically for an 11 day European trip. On day 8, the spring on one of the zipper clips no longer worked which was disappointing since that was the main reason I bought this. However the bag construction was good and it served me well during the trip to hold all of my necessities.
