Anti-theft Classic Essential Messenger Bag, Nutmeg

Smaller size than I expected, especially if you intend to carry an iPad.

This is now my very favorite bag. Its the perfect size for me and has wonderful slots and pockets to organize my stuff. I like that it secures my credit cards and has additional clasps to guard against pick pockets when Im out in crowds . I may purchase another in a different color, just to change off.

I ordered my Travelon purse less than one month ago and now it is unwearable. I was putting it around my neck and OUCH something scratched me!!! I carefully took it off and examined the strap and noticed a minuscule piece of metal sticking out of the fabric.

The bag is very sturdily constructed, as it should be. However, I had taken this to Hawaii and wearing sleeveless tops, sometimes the cross strap would irritate me, including the swivel on the attaching end of the strap. I get why its there, but I couldnt just put the purse over my head without making absolutely sure the strap wasnt twisted in any way and it would distort a bit and be difficult. Also, sometimes trying to pull the zippers it would collapse a bit and require me to use two hands to unzip.

Good quality. Many compartments. Easy to organize. I would prefer it wasnt quite so deep but excellent bag.

Really surprised, wasn’t sure what to expect with anti-slash proof, but I am enjoying my the extra security features, and it is the perfect size for when I go out, travel, etc.

SEE UPDATE BELOW - This is my original review: I dont recommend this bag. I ordered the bag for an overseas trip, and one of the locks didnt work. By that time, I was already gone. I am back from the trip and I learn the return policy on this product is only 30 days. So I am stuck with a bag that is difficult to put your hand into (I have really, really small hands), and at least one lock that doesnt work.

I just returned from a trip to Vancouver. This bag was perfect; fit my 2 pairs of glasses, a small travel guide, wallet, phone, tissues, etc. with no problems. The fabric is stiff, but it did not scratch. It rained 4 days while we were there, and everything in the bag stayed dry. The extra security features definitely helped me feel more relaxed as we traveled on crowded public transit and through tourist areas.

I love this purse. It is a tad small on the inside, but with the outer pockets, this shouldnt be a problem. Midnight is a very pretty blue. The inside is a very light blue. Almost a white with a blue tinge. It isnt the aqua lining. If you want that one, you need to order the one with that specifically in its color name. The only question I have about this purse, is whether the whole inside of the purse has the rfid, or only the outer pockets, and pockets inside that are on the other side ( share that wall ) of the roundish outer pocket. That would make sense, but it would be great if the whole purse had it. The locking is great, and gives a sense of security, as well.

Bought this to replace a smaller Travelon that has served me very well over the years. This one is basically the next size up and it is perfect though it lacks an open outside pocket for a cell phone. The front zipped pocket is plenty big enough for a cell phone, so I cant complain. I bought the Nutmeg color and it is a very nice neutral shade. Looking forward to many, many miles with my new Travelon!
