> 3 dayThe AOC CQ27G2 is a decent 27 inch, 1440p monitor with a VA panel. It has a simple design, with a wide stand that supports the monitor well and okay ergonomics. Like most VA monitors, it has a high native contrast ratio, which delivers deep blacks, but this comes at the expense of viewing angles, which are disappointing. It delivers 144 Hz, both kinds of Adaptive-Sync and excellent contrast.

> 3 dayI bought this monitor in late 2020 for $150, with many worries going through my head. I was worried that the colors would be too washed out, worried that the curve might be too much, worried about the quality of the product, worried about its acclaimed 1ms mprt, and worried if the monitor would come with any dead pixels. I got none of that. What i did get was a big smile across my face. This monitor was probably one of the best purchases and investments Ive made so far. The quality of the product is perfect for the price range its in, it certainly outdoes my Acer SB220Q. Speaking of which, the Acer monitor comes with an ips panel, i was scared that i wouldnt enjoy the VA panel the AOC would come with, but it turned out to be just fine for gaming, movies, and other media. I do frequently use photoshop so the Acers ips panel will still be utilized for that. As for the curve, the curve is just barely noticeable when youre directly in front of the monitor, which is perfect. As for the acclaimed 1ms, its 1ms mprt, but the actual response time is probably 4ms, which is perfectly fine and you shouldnt really worry about a 4ms response time holding you back at all. And as for the people who have received dead pixels on their AOCs, mine arrived with zero dead pixels as advertised, it most likely has to do with whether or not the monitor was damaged during shipping. So should you buy this monitor? If youre looking for a decent 1080p 144hz experience, and dont care about having the best response time in class (which you shouldnt care about in this price range), and do not require an ips panel, this works perfectly. It also runs flawlessly with GSYNC enabled, just be sure to use the included Display port cable and not the HDMI cable to actually utilize GSYNC and the 144hz.

> 3 dayI loved it when I got it. But I had 2, and both lasted barely 2 years. I just wont purchase from this company again, neither time did they offer any help either. Its a solid monitor. But 2 out of 2 didnt even last 2 years. I wouldnt recommend.

Greater than one weekI like this monitor a lot since I jumped from 60hz to 144hz. Overall if you are looking for something that is overall good but not the best monitor and trying to save a bit of money. Then this is the monitor to go. The 2 issues I have with this monitor is the dead pixel I have on the bottom left of the monitor. Even though it is small and unnoticeable, you can not unsee it. I am currently working to get a replacement for the monitor because I really like it a lot and want to game with it more. Another issue I have with the monitor is that it looks hella washed out, so please do play with the settings on it because there is no other way. Also for people experiencing ghosting on the monitor the settings, I say to change is to set your [gamma to 2] [shadow control to 60] and [overdrive to medium], and to avoid the washed-out weird color contrast I put the color temp to normal. I really hope this helps people who are experiencing ghosting with their monitors I will update on how the process will go on getting the new monitor (:

> 3 dayThis monitor is great if you’re wanting something that’s 1440 and can run at 160fps, but don’t want to spend ridiculous amounts of money. Build quality is great and has performed well so far. There was some slight screen stuttering when I first started using it, but it seems like the settings I eventually landed on has made them go away or become very minimal as I can’t see it happening anymore. Giving 4 stars just because of the screen stuttering at first, not sure if that’s something that is consistent among these monitors or not.
