> 3 dayPlaying any first person shooter with this monitor at 240Hz was a great improvement over my 60Hz monitor. The 60Hz monitor would give me motion sickness after maybe 30 minutes or so. Not to mention my aim was terrible since everything looked very blurry. With the new monitor I cant say i felt any motion sickness since there was no blur, and everything looked so much more clear when moving around and trying to aim. Much much better gaming performance than I expected for the price at 1080p. Eventually I will go for a similar monitor at 4k.

Greater than one weekI really like this gaming monitor, for the price it good quality, except, the dead pixel issue that I’m sure is attributed to shipping and handling. But that being said I have had additional pixels go out since owning it, mind you it sits on my best and never moves, being used maybe three hours a day. So that’s a heartbreaker. I’d have sent it back and asked for a new one but didn’t want to be without a monitor for days just to gamble on another monitor that might have even more dead pixels from being tossed in and out of trucks.

> 3 dayI have zero complaints at all. Amazing monitor, fast, great colors. Highly recommend! *If anyone is concerned about the curvature, know its very very minor. I like it that way though -- it fits your field of view much better than flat.

> 3 dayEs un buen monitor para juegos, en especial por su tasa de refresco, pero en 1080 navegando, parece que las letras tienen sombreado.

> 3 dayMoved a few hours down the road and despite careful packaging and movement one of my two monitors broke on the drive. Im the only one who handled them so I know it wasnt mishandled.

> 3 dayUPDATE: 3/25/2023 Ive had this monitor for three years now. it does show some age in the form of some random color bars across the bottom of the screen, like in the windows taskbar. they only appear when it first turns on (cold) but they have never lasted longer than it takes me to log into windows (warms up). By my guesstimation, its just the monitor warming up. everything else is still working flawlessly. I dont have much of a baseline to compare longevity but Im still very happy with this purchase. (: ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this monitor with my very own hard earned cash and am receiving nothing for this review except the satisfaction of paying it forward to fellow entry gamers, or just anybody who cares about how black vs white or really any color for that matter look on their pc. most of the reviews here are most likely going to be first impressions and may not be updated if the monitor were to fail, mine is not that. Ive had this monitor for one year and it still works as new. Ive always thought any device would last longer when used at lower power usage and my eyes get tired quickly if I run the brightness to high, as writing this I have the brightness at 20% and contrast at 50%. I was very concerned, a year ago, when I purchased this about dead pixels so I am sure that you are as well, the way I countered this concern was to get a 4 year protection plan with my monitor this added $30 to the $150 monitor totaling $180. I cant see it unless I look for it but there is one spot covering about 6 pixels (two tall three wide) where I accidentally had a butterfly knife fly at my monitor and left a small nick in it, to the quality though all of those pixels behind the nick still work perfectly. the bottom right corner of the screen must be where the power supply is because the brighter its set the hotter that spot gets, at 20% brightness the whole screen is cool to the touch and that spot is warm to the touch, even at 100% I dont think it could burn you. the things I think are best about this monitor would be the 144Hz, you can easily notice this by dragging and window in circles, and I really dont know how to explain this but the colors just look so GOOD, anybody who has used a cheapo monitor knows what that white and blue film and washed out blacks looks like. I guess a good way to say it would be that the blacks are very deep and the rainbow colors are very vibrant. with all of the options out there that Im sure your confused about (because I sure was) this one worked great for me and will probably work great for you as well.
