> 3 dayI feel like this sock is backwards to how I would want it to be. I tried finding a better match to my exact hotend but this was the best one. This is on a Monoprice Maker Ultimate 2 printer. My printer may be a littler weird, Im not sure. I would have expected the heater to pop out of the little slot instead of the giant open hole side. This was the only way the sock would fit for me though. I didnt like how loose the sock was so I added some wire ties to hold it on there. The way they are set up on there they will not touch anything but the silicone. I took a 8 gauge copper wire and unbraided it and then twisted 2 strands together to make the ties. Install for me was super easy but my printer can drop the hotend very fast. Just dont forget to remove the filament first or you will be like me and need to wait for a heat cycle first.

> 3 dayThese work okay. I dont think they work as well as the original tape and insulation. However, they were much easier to install. I am using on a Monoprice Mini (I think it is the first model). They dont fit exactly right but arr good enough. They did smoke a bit (@250c). That only happened for the few minutes though.

> 3 dayMy old Silicone Cover fell apart when my printer had a meltdown. After the meltdown was cleaned up and repaired I was getting Low Temp issues on my printer. So I ordered these and once I installed one of these my printer game back to life. I have also modified one of these to work on one of my older printers that never used anything to cover the heat block and now it works without as many printing issues. I will buy more of these again soon so I can have backups.

> 3 dayKeeps heat block temp consistent within a degree than 2 to 3. For temp critical jobs, a must!

> 3 dayNot my favorite and and the fit is off, but I honestly bought it because of the color. It does what its supposed to and protects the heater block well. Doesnt melt but is warm if you accidentally touch it. I ruined one trying to make it fit, but again Im not totally mad. Just dont recommend for an Ender 3.

> 3 dayThese are great to have to prevent heat block buildup. They also make clean up easier whenever messes happen.
