My rubber insulators that came Factory on my Ender 3 work fine but I thought I would try these out as a cheap upgrade and they are much better than the ones included with the Ender 3 they seem to keep the heat down a little bit more and since I changed the nozzle to hardened steel from brass I needed to play around with the temperature to keep it cool.

I use these on my Micro Swiss hot end and they fit perfectly!

Its a silicone sock, works well, not much else to say. PID TUNE YOUR HOTEND AFTER APPLYING, MARLIN FIRMWARE HAS A BUILT IN PID AUTOTUNE. Good sock. I reccomend.

These are great to have to prevent heat block buildup. They also make clean up easier whenever messes happen.

These are too soft to stay on properly. When they get warm, they become soft and want to slide off. There really isnt much that keeps them attached in the first place.

Works great. Does its job and its obvious when a globbing problem has come about on your hotend. Unless youre printing with a Yellow filament, this sticks out when it has issues so you can stop things, fix/clean the mess, and get right back into it. The stock black ones are...hinky... They work, but its hard to tell when you have a globbing fail and theyre not as snug/stiff as these are so it ends up doing goofy things on you at some point in time. Not with these. They just go on and work.

These are legit silicone socks for MK9 hot ends. I use this for my CR-10 printer with an upgraded Swiss all metal hot end. The sock this one replaced lasted me about 3 years. These are definitely wear items. They get hard and burnt over time.

Item is not like the OEM thermal boot for the Ender. The purpose of the boot is to cover the hot end a reduce heat loss. This product (show in yellow) does not cover the extruder nozzle and has an unnecessary cut out on the side. Both result in unnecessary heat loss in place where ever degree is necessary for proper extruder performance. Amazon should unlist this item. .
