> 3 dayI have a stock CR-10s hotend and tried a couple of other covers that didnt seem to work (fit) well. The one I put on fit as it should and seemed to be a quality product. It should be a while until I need another cover since 3 came in the package, but I can recommend these. Just double check (measure) your hotend to make sure you get the correct cover for your use.

> 3 dayThese are too soft to stay on properly. When they get warm, they become soft and want to slide off. There really isnt much that keeps them attached in the first place.

> 3 dayIve tried a few different silicone socks that were either included with my Ender 3 or came from other sources (including the bright blue one included with the Micro-Swiss hot end) and these fit perfectly with both my heater block and the various nozzles Ive used. Compared to some of the other socks Ive gotten, this one seems to fit just right over the top of the heater block while others seem a touch too short.

> 3 dayHad to trim it to make it fit my A8. Other than that it works great. Better than the insulation type.

> 3 dayWorks great. Some other covers can fall off the heater block, but this one does not. I have used this for at least 40 hours so far.

> 3 dayThese are great to have to prevent heat block buildup. They also make clean up easier whenever messes happen.

> 3 dayThese work okay. I dont think they work as well as the original tape and insulation. However, they were much easier to install. I am using on a Monoprice Mini (I think it is the first model). They dont fit exactly right but arr good enough. They did smoke a bit (@250c). That only happened for the few minutes though.

> 3 dayThe socks do help a lot with keeping the hotend from getting all gunked up and as far as insulating for temperatures, not sure if it really helps too much. Performance I have found with the end piece will not really be affected =)

> 3 dayI feel like this sock is backwards to how I would want it to be. I tried finding a better match to my exact hotend but this was the best one. This is on a Monoprice Maker Ultimate 2 printer. My printer may be a littler weird, Im not sure. I would have expected the heater to pop out of the little slot instead of the giant open hole side. This was the only way the sock would fit for me though. I didnt like how loose the sock was so I added some wire ties to hold it on there. The way they are set up on there they will not touch anything but the silicone. I took a 8 gauge copper wire and unbraided it and then twisted 2 strands together to make the ties. Install for me was super easy but my printer can drop the hotend very fast. Just dont forget to remove the filament first or you will be like me and need to wait for a heat cycle first.
