APC Surge Protector, White Power Strip PH8W, 2160 Joules, Flat Plug, 8 Outlet Power Strip

I cannot vouch for its Effectiveness because we did not have a significant power surge or outage since I purchased this. Hopefully it acts and responds is Good As It Seems

Wall mounted this near my charging area and it really helped clean up my rats nest of cords. High quality and recommended.

3 of the plugs do not work, but the remaining ones do, so...I guess theres that.

I chose this because of the good reviews for protection of the expensive equipment that would be plugged in. I had ordered a different one and it arrived but after reviewing reviews and seeing the shape of it, we sent that one back because it would not work well with Apple products. This one works perfectly with the Apple products and we will keep it.

Just what I needed for the home office. The cord is long enough for my stand/sit desk. Only complaint is that the power light is a bit too bright.

All in all, the design is great, and the performance is fine... with two exceptions: The power switch and the cable. Both are prone to being switched off or pulled at more easily/accidentally than any other surge strip Ive owned. The switch could use more resistance and/or be further “made flush” into the body of the surge strip, and the plug should not be angled like it is. 3 stars. Still, at ~ US$15, it’s a easy and cheap way to get reliable surge protection and more outlets for the devices in your space.

The differently oriented sockets make the power strip really useful for things with the 90 degree angled plugs.

These are just about perfect! I like the flat plugs and the cable length. However, the green status lights are just too bright for my bedroom. I have these on each side of my bed to charge my phone and my laptop. I had to position the surge protectors so that half of them are under my bed because the status lights are just too bright!

The surge protector works just as intended, the design is very functional. One negative about is that the switch can be turned off VERY EASILY. You have to be careful to not turn it off accidentally. Otherwise its a well made surge protector.
