This item is great for testing aquarium water parameters. it functions great and will last a long time. a tip i have learned is to only use 2.5 ML of water compared to to recommended 5, it has doubled the life of the testing kit with the exact same results as using more product. highly recommend

This product needs a special care to dispose of the waste solution after the test. I hope that the company prohibits the use of the current bio-hazardous material that the instruction manual explains

I am using other of the API test products, and they tend to be a lot easier to use and simplified. This is a single bottle test, and takes five minutes to complete once mixed. I am doing freshwater and it seems very accurate, it is easy enough to compare to the color chart and figure out the reading.

Add the drops to the vial of aquarium water and wait 5 minutes, compare the color to the color chart on the provided card - not hard. API has been around a long time, so I will assume accuracy of the test results.
