API REPLACEMENT TEST TUBES WITH CAPS For Any Aquarium Test Kit Including API Freshwater Master Test Kit 24-Count Box

I had a hard time getting my biofilter started. I had to buy the API test hit with the tubes and had broken two tubes and basically, you need 5 tubes to do all the tests.

I have augmented my normal water tests to 8 tests, and have multiple tanks, neccessitating the use of about two dozen test tubes. The 5mL graduation line is accurate for the tests that API supplies, but their caps do often leak so I went ahead and bought some normal rubber plugs and they work wonderfully. I use the api master test kit often and the tubes and lids that come with the kit work perfectly. For some reason with the replacements the lids don’t seal properly and when you shake them to perform your test the liquid comes sloshing out. At least two of the test solutions can cause corrosion to metals and can cause both skin and eye damage. I don’t really see how these are safe to use. I also can not see how the test can be accurate as you are losing both tank water and test solution with every shake.

Pretty good for the amount of test tubes you get for the value but some of them leak when you shake them

Only one came broken, but the rest were okay! Looks exactly like the ones that come from the api water test kit. But to spend over $20 for 25 test tubes is a lot.

As a long time goldfish keeper, these are my absolute favorite for water testing. I like having extra on hand because the caps begin to lose their grip after long time use and the water will come out when you shake them up. I feel like a scientist when I use them and Im overwhelmed with power having so many on hand

I am glad that I ordered these. I have the API mater test kit for Fresh Water and I dislike running out of test tubes. This solves that problem. Now I can wash them all at once and be ready to go. The lids are nice and tight on the tube so that I dont spill while shaking the solutions. They are durable and I can tell that they will last a really long time.

I thought I only needed a handful, but ended up needing over 3 times as many test tubes for testing aquarium water. So, having the large pack with extras was perfect and suited me perfectly. Same vials that come in test kits.

Its nice to have extra test tubes on hand when testing my tank parameters. These come in handy when I accidentally drop one. Whatever you do, dont soak them in vinegar to clean as it takes the white marker line off, so you wont have the 5ml line as a guide.

My clumsy self cant seem to stop dropping these darn things, so being able to buy 24 replacements is a blessing. These test tubes have given me new motivation to track the water quality in my three tanks. Straight-up magic, I swear.
